New Mosomuso Blog
The mosomuso project is now active and running.
For those who are interested ther is a cool demo that requires to go to Clicmoblie France offices : 3, rue primo Levi 75013 paris.
MoSoMuSo stands for Mobile Social Musical Software.
Mosomuso is a research project on the future of mobile communities, with a strong emphasis on P2P music sharing on location.
Started in December 2005 the French govenrement ( RIAM ) granted the Mosomuso research project to CLICMOBILE , SONY CSL and LIP-6.
The Demo is called Net Derive
Net_Dérive, is a piece by Atau Tanaka and Petra Gemeinboeck with the collaboration of Ali Momeni and Clicmobile, is a location sensitive mobile media art piece that calls for an exchange between participants in the gallery and participants in the streets. Deployed on advanced mobile phones, the work seeks to create a kind of musical instrument, thinking of the city-as-instrument.
